Gas Pressure

Gas isn’t always the best value when it’s at its cheapest. Sure, gas at its peak price is exactly the same gas when it's at its lowest. Here’s the difference: when gas is the most expensive (usually in the morning at rush hour) only a few suckers people are there filling up their tanks. They waited until it was urgent.

However, let's say you went to fill up when gas prices bottomed out. For arguments sake, let's say this occurred every Saturday night, close to 10 PM. All of a sudden, gas stations are packed and it takes 30 minutes for you to fill up. Is 30 minutes of your Saturday night really worth the $5 savings. Probably not. Instead, the best value in gas is when it's just off its bottom. It might cost you a few cents more or up to a dollar, but you'll end up saving 25 minutes.

Another reason to not fill up when everyone else is filling is that you’re going to end up aggravating yourself as you wait at the pumps. It's much better that you not get aggravated when accruing wealth or you'll teach yourself to avoid wealth accruing activities. Your mind will associate these with pain.

Save money, but not at the expense of your sanity.
